The Course

The route starts from within the Renishaw site before leaving across fields and tracks to a minor public road. The route then heads away from the site to perform a 10k circuit  over a mixture of terrains. Depending on weather, parts will be muddy and you may choose to wear trail shoes. The route takes you over a few stiles and through some gates and a few small inclines.  The route is not officially measured.   The views as you pass Under the Edge are an added bonus. Marshals will be at key parts of the route

The event starts and finishes in the grounds of Renishaw at New Mills on the outskirts of Wotton. Postcode GL12 8JR

  • Location – Car parking and registration access is via the main entrance off the roundabout.
    • What 3 words location “elite.elders.inform”
  • Timing – Registration will open at 8:30 – Warmup with Fay Davies Fitness at 9:40
  • Pre run briefing at 9:50 – Event starts at 10:00 am.
  • Bibs are to be collect at registration. Please ensure you allow time.
  • Headphones – not allowed as part of the route is on minor roads.
  • Route will be clearly signed and include distance markers.
  • No dogs as the route includes farmland where animals may be present.
  • First aid is being provided by St. John’s ambulance located at the start and midway point
  • Limited toilet facilities available at start/finish
  • Water station using paper cups at 5k
  • Photographs
    • We have two photographers on the course. All photos will be posted to a Google group for you to review and download.
    • If you do not wish to appear in the group or any publicity posts. Please advise registration at time of collecting bib number
    • Event Selfie Frame available at finish
  • Refreshments are available at start/finish area from Kingswood PTA.
  • Bag drop will be provided
  • Event shirts available at the finish by Bib number. Swap your bib for entry into spot prize raffle.
  • Prizes for first 3 male and female finishers donated by Gloucester Sports
  • After event massage provided by “Back on track sports and holistic massage”

As the medals and your choice of shirt are ordered, we regret that if you are no longer able to participate we are unable to refund. We will accept transfers up to 7 days prior to the event although shirt choice will remain the same.

Wotton Community PARC has been developed by Wotton Community Sports Foundation (WCSF) to provide sports and leisure facilities to Wotton and surrounding villages. Our 38 acre site features two all-weather sports pitches, a running trail, skate park, orchard and more. It is home to Wotton parkrun, Wotton-under-Edge Hockey Club, Wotton Rovers Football Club Junior section, Wotton Rugby Club, Wotton parkrun and is the venue for the annual Party in the PARC.
