Back then, a pint in the Star while waiting for the draw would’ve set you back £2. Fancy a snack? A packet of crisps was just 30p.

Fast forward 25 years, and that pint now costs over a fiver, with crisps not far behind at a pound. But the meat draw? Still just a pound.

And us? We’re still giving every penny back into the local community – just like we have for the past 25 years.
